The most common sites of metastases with gastric cancer includes liver, peritoneal
surfaces, and distant lymph nodes. Less commonly, ovaries, central nervous system,
bone, pulmonary, or soft tissue metastases occur. However colonic metastases from
gastric cancer are rare.
